How It Works
TIPS AND INFO FOR PORTIONING / RE-BAGGING YOUR MEAT.
The U. S. Dept. of Agriculture (USDA) advises:
Once food is thawed in the refrigerator, it is safe to refreeze it without cooking. After cooking raw foods which were previously frozen, it is safe to freeze the cooked foods.
We recommend you thaw out your meat, portion into your desired cuts, re-bag then re-freeze the portions you are not using for that meal.
